The Osborn Dunes was formed in May of 1999 when the Osborn family sold the individual lots that were previously leased.

The association originally consisted of 78 properties - 58 on the Ocean tract, 7 on the Median track, and 13 on the Bayside tract.  The Association members have been laser-focused on rebuilding the community since it was devastated by Super Storm Sandy.

The association is run by a board of 8 elected members.
